The Belvedere Union hosts a diverse array of events aimed at supporting both charitable causes and connections. These events provide valuable opportunities for our members to reconnect with old friends, establish new connections and explore fresh interests. The Union fosters a global network of supportive, encouraging individuals who collectively offer a wealth of experience.
Our key events include:
· Annual Union Dinner: Held every October, this event brings together alumni from all year groups.
· Belvedere Network Forum: A series of breakfast events aimed at fostering connections.
· Belvedere Network Lunch: An annual gathering in May.
· Annual Past vs. Present Debate and Memorial Mass: Honouring traditions and remembering the departed.
· Reunion Celebrations: Commemorating milestones of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60 years.
· Golf Society Events: Summer outings for enthusiasts.
· Collaborative Community Efforts: In partnership with the Belvedere Youth Club, Soup Run, and Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVP), we provide support for disadvantaged communities in the inner city and aid those experiencing homelessness.
· Belvedere Benevolent Association (BBA): Operating with confidentiality, the BBA provides financial assistance and professional support services for Belvederians and their families facing hardship.
The Union relies on the generous support of its members through annual subscriptions. These contributions are vital for sustaining our events, maintaining our website and social media presence, supporting our charitable activities and ensuring we continue to play a key role in connecting the Belvedere Community.
By becoming a paid member, you provide vital support to the Union with over a century of history, helping to ensure the Union’s continued success.
